THOUGHTS ON TERRAIN
TERRAIN ON THE FLY
TECH TOWER RUINS

The closest thing to instant gratification in the Poorhammer Terrain building world is these post apocalyptic tower constructs that use crappy CDs as a base. I haven't made one in a couple of weeks so I figure that it's time to crank one out. The shot above is one that I recently completed. They're really easy to make and are a great way to utilize the stuff that you have lying around. They can be finished in a couple of days because their compact size makes the painting steps go quickly.

Materials like corrugated cardboard and thin EVA foam craft sheets are your friend when making these dystopian towers. And of course all of the misfit greebles that are lying around your workbench.
They couldn't start out more simply, a bad CD like a Celine Dion CD, a toilet paper tube and the Epic Robo-Spider's proprietary Schmeg Shlop texturing compound. The Schmeg Shlop is a reoccurring material in the construction of these terrain pieces.
Check back here on the Epic Robo-Spider's website for updated info on how to build these. How else are you going to get rid of those Celine Dion CDs before your friends see them. No offense to our Canadian friends across the northern border. She's a national treasure like the Edmonton Oilers after all.
This is the latest one in progress. I'm especially stoked to incorporate my new found love for polymer clay into this one. Stay tuned.
